P. S. Rege (Pu Shi Rege) was a member of the generation of navakavya who appeared in Marathi in the 1930s and 1940s.

- Born in 1910 in Ratnagiri District in the Konkan region of Maharashtra.
- Studied economics in Bombay and London in the 1930s.
- Taught economics at various colleges in Maharashtra and Goa.
- Retired in the 1970s as the principal of Elphinstone College, Bombay.
- Began writing in the 1930s and continued until his death in 1978.
Pu Shi Rege’s work in Marathi includes -
- Eight books of poems including Dusara pakshi (1966 ), Priyala (1972 ), and Suhrdgatha (1975 )
